The UK-South East Asia Women in Cyber Fellowship

The UK-South East Asia Women in Cyber Fellowship, a UK Government initiative, is a vital component of the UK’s cyber capacity-building efforts in the Indo-Pacific region.

The UK-South East Asia Women in Cyber Fellowship promotes and empowers women who are established or emerging cyber security leaders in the region, bringing together regional insights on critical cyber security issues, enabling cross-border collaborative networks among delegates, and forming closer partnerships with the UK.

We offer

Connection

The Fellowship connects prominent and emerging female leaders in cyber security, building a safe space to share knowledge and form meaningful connections with each other and with notable UK and international experts

Collaboration

We tackle current cyber security issues collectively through small group projects and open discussions, bringing together our delegates’ unique perspectives and insights.

Empowerment

We aim to attract, promote, empower, and retain women in cyber security. Through guidance from mentors, insights from notable guest speakers, and a supportive environment, our delegates build leadership skills, share experiences, and set ambitions.

Fellowship Delegate

This Fellowship program felt like a breath of fresh air. As a government official working for the promotion and protection of the rights of women and children. I have heard of the term cybersecurity before, but never got the chance to dive deep into the subject. This fellowship program is an invaluable opportunity for me to experience something new and peer into a world so different from my own
